With the growing prosperity of culture industry, competition in the movie industry market is becoming more and more intensified. If you want to stay competitive in the fierce competition, you have to improve the human resources management of your enterprises. As the core and important content of human resource management, performance evaluation plays an important role to realize the enterprise strategic goals. Although more and more companies adopt performance appraisal, there are some problems in practical application. Therefore, this article is going to work on the performance evaluation system optimization of the operating department of WDYC co., LTD.The operations department performance appraisal of WDYC co., LTD., still stays in the traditional sense, the purpose is just for the year-end bonuses, which can not play the role of to motivate employees, but badly affected most of employees’ work enthusiasm. While the purpose of this study is to change the traditional misunderstanding, the purpose of our research is to improve the work performance, enhance the competitive ability of the enterprise.On the basis of predecessors’ research and KPI, this article is to analyze the performance appraisal system design, implementation, test, and evaluation of the whole process. This article will do the reach according to the thinking of asking questions, analyzing and solving problems. The first part of introduction, ask questions, set forth the research background and significance of this article; the second part sums up performance evaluation related theory; the third part introduces the basic situation of WDYC company, after thorough analysis WDYC company current situation and existing problems of performance appraisal; the fourth part, on the basis of questionnaire and interview with employees, design the performance appraisal system and the practice. In order to solve the current problems of WDYC co., LTD., add the working ability and working attitude, emphasized the importance of PDCA cycle in the process of assessment, and through the dual weighted method to determine the weight of performance evaluation indicators, to establish a scientific and effective performance appraisal system and practice. Finally, it is about the research conclusion.
