Since the industrial revolution, the rapid development of economy and theboosting growth of population have caused the production of "greenhouse effect" onearth. Many countries proposed the concept of "low carbon", which advocates lowenergy consumption, low pollution, low emission as economic basic model to copewith climate change. In the process of developing low carbon economy underinternational call, our country confronts to many difficulties and challenges.Corporate social responsibility provides good solutions to these problems. Lowcarbon innovation concept also has a positive effect on the basic connotation, valuecreation, practice and self-improvement of the corporate social responsibility.Therefore, low carbon innovation and corporate social responsibility have the innerdialectical unification relations.Low carbon innovation is a technological innovation pattern, which is based onlow energy consumption, low pollution, low emission,highly efficient and highefficiency. It saves energy resource, protects the ecological environment, and realizesenergy conservation and emission reduction through technology innovation. In theera of low carbon economy, corporate social responsibility adds new connotation forlow carbon innovation. On the basis of the economic responsibility, the legalresponsibility, the ethical responsibility and the charitable responsibility, it increasesthe ecological responsibility. Corporate social responsibility can be driven under thestakeholders internal and external the enterprise, including employees, managers,investors and consumers(like downstream buyers’ semi-finished products),non-governmental organizations, the community, the government, the suppliers andcompetitors, to develop the brand competitiveness for creating profits of enterprisesdirectly and helping enterprises to make values at present, in the future and thepotential. The practice activity of corporate social responsibility is leaded by company and practice target. Influenced by the concept, innovation and effect of lowcarbon technology, through three levels interaction of the company internal, socialgroups and the natural environment, it develops in five aspects, including relations,legal, ethical, philanthropic and ecological. The government, the public and themedia promote the quality of the entrepreneurs by formulating laws and regulations,providing financial and policy support and supervision from the public. Finally, theentrepreneurs make the corporate social responsibility improved by setting up perfectcompany organization structure, driving the subordinate staff actively performprocedures and creating advanced culture of company.
