The Research Of Development And Design Of Xiang-gan Logistics Park

As a gathering place of logistics industry and an important node inthe logistics network, Logistics Park has become a hot issue whichattracted much attention of government planning, business investmentand academia. Located in Chaling County Economic Development Zoneof Hunan Province, Xiang-Gan Logistics Park has many advantages, suchas traffic location, policy preferences and so on. This park will play animportant role in facilitating the trade circulation of Hunan-Jiangxi bordercounties and improving logistics network in urban agglomeration andprovide strong impetus for local industrial upgrading and economicrestructuring.Focusing on practice, this paper studied the development program ofXiang-Gan logistics park project which was commissioned by thegovernment. Based on the review of development and research status ofthe domestic and international logistics park, it had been made a deep andthorough inquiry about the development program which contains location,layout and function of Xiang-Gan Logistics Park.Firstly, the paper analyzed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunitiesand threats of Xiang-Gan logistics park project using SWOT analysis, sothere was a comprehensive investigation and visit about social andeconomic development, policy support environment and logisticsdevelopment and competition of Chaling county and surrounding areas.Based on this background and combined with cargo calendar data ofChaling, the paper predicted the next10years’ logistics demand ofChaling using GM（1,1）Model and classified its demand conditions.Secondly, combining the local government’s overall goal of theproject, the first step was to evaluate the project site, and then analyze functional orientation, functional zoning and spatial layout of Xiang-GanLogistics Park. On this basis, the paper makes a reasonable arrangementfor construction progress of the project.Finally, the paper analyzed the mode of operation, investment andfinancing modes and profit model of Xiang-Gan Logistics Park andproposed appropriate operational management recommendations.
