Current Situation And Countermeasures Development In Inner Mongolia Livestock Insurance

Livestock is an important component of agriculture and rural economy, livestock insurance is an important part of agricultural policy insurance system, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to deploy a major decision to make. Insurance can not carry livestock husbandry establish risk prevention mechanism, strengthen the government’s disaster response capacity, can also make timely compensation for the affected farmers, livestock farmers worry about lifting. Since2007, the central government policy of livestock insurance pilot implementation of activities, animal husbandry Insurance has made considerable progress, but compared with the crop insurance, there is a clear lag, mainly in the products and rates of single, incomplete premium pricing system and farmers wait and see attitude. Therefore, how to establish a scientific livestock insurance system, how to take state subsidies to what the system as a basis for product pricing has become an important theoretical and practical issues.This article consists of a total of six parts:The first part is the introduction, this paper introduces the background, main contents, purpose, meaning, and the research status of insurance on livestock development. The second part, the theory of the relationship between livestock, livestock development and insurance elaborate, and an overview of the definition of livestock insurance, characteristics and classification. The third part, mainly through on-site visits to research, access to information, etc., to collect statistical material domestic livestock Insurance, Insurance of the country as well as animal husbandry development status and influencing factors are analyzed in Inner Mongolia. The fourth part, through the SWOT analysis, the development of Inner Mongolia Livestock Insurance strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges for system analysis.The fifth part, mainly for the SWOT analysis, put forward suggestions to accelerate the development of insurance issued livestock in Inner Mongolia, including the establishment of a special fund livestock catastrophe risk, to increase support and advocacy efforts to establish and improve livestock insurance law.
