| The pattern of residents’ income distribution is closely related to residents’life level. Middle income population is an important index to the structure of income distribution, which is reasonable when this type of index is large. At present, China’s pattern of income distribution is at an important adjusted period, therefore measuring the proportion of middle-income group is an important subject in the economic and social area. One of the priorities of Beijing government is to pay more attention to the public welfare, narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas and improve the income level of low-income groups obviously. This essay studies the middle-income group in Beijing from both objective and subjective perspective, and provides a new analysis angle of academic research and valuable reference for the formulation of relevant economic and social policy.The essay firstly determines the standard of middle-income group based on the China Health and Nutrition data using partial ordered method, then measuring the proportion of middle-income group in Beijing using kernel density method. Secondly, the essay does micro investigation on the problem of income of residents in Beijing city and then uses logisitic regression model to measure the influencing factors of subjective perception of residents’income. Finally, this paper analyzes the residents’income status through both subjective and objective perspective and presents the suggestion which is helpful to improve the proportion of the middle-income group.The main emphasis and difficulties of this essay are as follows, firstly, the National Bureau of Statistics does not publish income survey micro data, therefore how to get the survey data used in this essay is the main problem. Secondly, how to construct the calculation method of middle-income group analysis from the subjective and objective perspectives. Thirdly, how to put forward to effective policy recommendations on the basis of the empirical analysis.The main innovation of the thesis are as follows, the first is this essay introduces subjective perception perspective for the first time to do research and analysis of measuring the subjective perception of the income of residents in Beijing city and its influence based on the statistical measure of Beijing City. The second is that this essay puts forward effective policy recommendations based on the calculation results of the actual survey data in Beijing City and the proportion of middle-income group of objective conditions. |
