With economic globalization, the market competition becomes increasinglyfierce while the market demand is more variable. In this situation, what needs tobe done of Manufacturing Industry is to improve product quality and reduce thecost of production. For the growing demand of personalized products, the originaldevelopment and production organization pattern already can not adapt to thedynamic and changeable market demand and the personalized needs ofcustomers. Enterprise must have the ability to rapidly reconfigurablemanufacturing system in order to put into production as quickly as possible at areasonable cost, and also give consideration to efficiency and flexibility.Cell Manufacturing that uses the concept of Lean Production Technologysuch as Group Technology is a flexible organization management model to adaptto many varieties of small batch production. That kind of model brings about anoverall balance in four aspects of improving labor productivity, equipmentutilization, production rate of balance and meeting the requirements from differentcustomers by the methods which are to simplify production process and shortenthe preparation time, what is more, to reduce inventory. Therefore, the expertsand scholars pour much extensive attention to Cell Manufacturing, and depthresearch has been carried out.This paper analyzes and summarizes the characteristics and developmenttrend of typical manufacturing model at home and abroad. The author has carriedon the system analysis from the products, manufacturing processes, productionlayout, the resource allocation and the balance of production, and summarizes thesignificant bottleneck link that are influential of enterprise production capacity,improving production efficiency and reduction of the manufacturing cost by combing the actuality of A company production organization pattern. Theproduction model, replacing the original model of single variety and small amountwith the various and small batch of Cell Manufacturing organization model, is putforward in combination with demand of JB instrument application.This thesis expounds the theory of unit manufacturing model and analysesthe features and advantages and disadvantages of Cell Manufacturing. While Acompany builds JB instrument manufacturing unit, optimizes and restructures theproduction system in aspects of the product, layout and resources by fully usingLean Production techniques such as the group technology concept. Under thecondition of without a substantial increase in the allocation of resources, toexplore the application research of Cell Manufacturing organization pattern in thefield of national defense equipment manufacturing. At the same time, combiningwith the characteristics of enterprise production, aiming at the shortcomings of theCell Manufacturing organization and the weak link in the improvement measures,the expected results have been achieved.
