Along with the development of high speed communication technology (3G&4G) and the popularization of the mobile intelligent terminal, the mobile Internet has become the world’s fastest growing industries with the largest market potential. Meanwhile mobile payment has become the infrastructure application for mobile internet, and has been a focus of the academic and industrial circles. To explore the determinants of intentions to use the third party mobile payment has both theoretical and practical significance.This paper summarizes both domestic and foreign research results, analyses the definition and the current situation of the third party mobile payment, and based on the technology acceptance model, adopts statistical demographic variables, perceived playfulness, perceived cost, perceived risk, and the theory of network externalities to build the model of the user’s intention. This paper set Alipay Wallet and Wechat Payment as example to design questionnaire and collect data so as to explore the relationship among the intention and various factors.This paper carries out the reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and structural equation model validation to draw a conclusion that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived playfulness and network externalities will be significantly positive to intention; perceived risk would negatively affect user’s intention; perceived cost wouldnot significantly affect user’s intention. In addition, different demographic factors also affect the perseverance of the third party mobile payment.This paper suggests that the third party mobile payment carry out some measures:based on social network, encourage users to share as to enhance network externalities; simplify interface, operating methods and enhances network coverage; develops more valuable features and transforms to diversified financial service; strengthen information security of all level; make the product more fun, thereby enhancing the user experience and get further development of the third party mobile payment.
