With the rapid development of China’s economy, OEM mode has become mature gradually. At the same time manufacturing enterprises at mobile industry face more and more challenges. Currently manufacturing enterprises are in the transition period, most of them innovate actively, strengthen the core competitiveness to get more marketing share. But at present, most of the manufacturing enterprises are lack of core competitive advantage, especially for key technology, so that their profits become very low.How to keep the competitive advantage in the fierce global competition, and improve the adding value of the products is the problem which Foxconn urgently need to solve. The solution is to make correct competitive strategy and do it. It’s same with Chinese manufacturing enterprises at mobile industry. Foxconn is one of the world’s largest manufacturing enterprises, play an important role at the industry, so choose foxconn’ competitive strategy as a research topic. The article analyses economic background, industry environment, and clarifies the necessity of manufacturing enterprise’ reform.I joined the Foxconn mobile phone group for8years, deeply study Foxconn the competitive strategy with the SWOT and Porter’s five forces model. Firstly, introduces the history and present situation of manufacturing at mobile industry. Secondly, analyses the factors that impact the Foxconn strategic, including macro environment, industry environment and their own resources and capabilities. Thirdly, uses the five forces model theory to analyze the status of Foxconn at the mobile phone manufacturing industry and how to improve competitiveness. List Foxconn’s internal and external environment factors which are provided to SWOT analysis, and provide a theoretical basis for decisions of enterprises strategic. At last it provides low-cost strategy and differentiation strategy for Foxconn. The detailed information will be cleared in the paper.The results of study will be helpful for Foxconn to make the competition strategy and the research ideas and methods also can be reference for the other manufacturing enterprise.
