In recent years, though trust、financial leasing and other non-banking financialsector has made substantial progress. At the same time, because shanghai compositeindex in the stock market benchmark also broke the3000point once again in2014years and is getting rid of the low situation, so the securities industry also seems tobe a thriving scene. However, this still can not shake the dominance of the bankingsector in the financial industry. Until the end of last year, according to data issued bythe relevant industry associations, the rank of financial institutions can be drawnthrough the consolidation of assets. We can find that the first one still is the bankingwhose assets reached159trillion yuan, but the trust industry just only have11.8trillion yuan which is ranked second. The banking still is dominant in thedistribution of financial assets, credit resources of banks is still the mainstream inthe total social financing and is still needed to support rapid economic development.At the same time, the governance structure of the banking system has animportant influence to the allocation of credit resources.Therefore,this paperanalyze its impact to the credit behavior that specifically bases on the ownershipstructure which is the main aspects of the bank governance structure. Therefore, fivemajor state-owned banks which is controlled by central Huijin Investment Ltd orThe Ministry of Finance、twelve national joint-stock commercial bank which has aunique design in the ownership structure、seventeen city commercial banks whichassume more task of local economic development is selected to the sample in thispaper. Meanwhile, this paper select Bank Annual Report which is between2004year and2013year to the data source and adopt generalized method of momentsestimation method.At the same time, the above models are tested by the Hausmanestimation which confirmed that the model has the endophytism problem. Inaddition the article adopt the Hansen estimation which confirmed selected instrumental variables has no over-identification problem. This deprive thefollowing conclusion: credit behavior of commercial banks which has differentownership structure is different. In different economic cycles, the total amount ofcredit loan and the proportion of different maturities’credit loan of thecommercial banks which has the different ownership structure is different.Meanwhile, commercial banks which has different ownership structure is not thesame in the degree of concentration of credit loan and credit terms of objects.
