The Transformation Of Traditional Agriculture To Modern Agriculture In Hunan Province

Abstract:Agriculture is the most basic material production departments in the human society, plays the important role of the world. With the development of global economy and the world’s population growth, agricultural development faced with the pressure to increase production, and to improve the quality of products. In the current economic and social conditions, modern agriculture represents a new stage of agricultural development and the highest realm. Since the new century, the Chinese government attaches a great importance to how to promote the development of modern agriculture, introduced a series of measures, make full use of the traditional agricultural conditions, to promote the development of modern process. Hunan province, as a traditional agricultural province in China, which agricultural reform significantly improve agricultural production conditions after30years of unremitting efforts, pay attention to agricultural science and technology research,and so on. But modern agriculture development goals of the Hunan province, still exists certain differences from the reality, such as low agricultural output, small production scale, the problem of uneven regional development.This paper tries to comb through the transition theory, combining the empirical analysis, draw an outline of the development of modern agriculture in Hunan province, as a whole and the regional development difference, thus to find the modern agricultural development factors on the amount of accumulated advantage, and the cause of the slow development to modern agriculture. In combination with regional differences and development of regional agriculture condition, proposed the rational allocation of resources, to improve agricultural economic benefits and realize the agricultural sustainable development, which is namely the development path of modern agriculture in Hunan province.
