As one of the important symbols of modern traffic carrier, Guangdong Provincial ExpresswayConstruction and operation made a spurt of progress of development, how to manage the highway, has become a very important realistic problem. In recent years, some provinces and cities in China such as large group or highway traffic management units are actively exploring management mode of expressway which comes good practice and some experience. Guangdong traffic, which stand in the forefront position of reform and opening up, not only to "pilot" and "experimental field" of the right time, but also take the right place of developed coastal areas. The exploration and Practice on the operation and management of expressway has been doing a lot to try. Exploration and innovation of entrusted operation management of the highway, which under Guangdong province trafficgroup attention guidance and support through repeated exploration for more than10years and continuous improvement, has formed a pattern of entrusted operationmanagement more mature and stable.This paper attempts to analyze several patterns of expressway and distinguish its advantages and disadvantages.
