The manufacturing industry of China has experienced a wide range of30yearsof development, now the cost rises higher and higher with further globalization andother forms, the market is facing a difficult adjustment. How to break themanufacturing enterprises and how to develop it is becoming a problem in front of allmanufacturing enterprises.Economic globalization and global enterprise capital allocation make enterpriseplanning and buying category gradually expand, purchasing cost in manufacturingenterprise operation cost share is more and more big. Therefore, reducing thepurchasing cost is one important way of enterprise to increase profits. In the past, weignore the fact that because of the high speed development, facing the survival crisistoday, we determined to face this problem seriously.ThyssenKrupp Presta Fawer (Changchun) Co., Ltd. Is one automobile steeringcolumn company by ThyssenKrupp co., LTD. and Fawer auto parts co., LTD. Whichis a set up joint venture company. The company was founded in2003which is thecompany for manufacturing companies, the company’s main products are steeringcolumn section. Company has total of300employees, and annual sales achieve0.8billion.First of all, as example of ThyssenKrupp Presta Fawer (Changchun) Co., Ltd.(hereafter referred to as "PFC") of the specific circumstances, through the discussionthe present situation of the company purchasing cost management, and also theanalysis on the problems, a series of purchasing process management, concreteembodiment in the process of purchasing management is not perfect, the examination and approval link too multifarious, procurement inefficient, receiving managementresponsibility division of labor is not clear and so on. If we don’t have the theseproblems properly solving, it is bound to affect PFC procurement procedures, andfurther affect the operating conditions. Aiming at these problems, the we thought thatsomething should be done from the following aspects: to create a perfect purchasingsystem, clear the approver for examination and approval of duty, strengthen themanagement of the warehouse receipt, through SAP upgrade is complete and toupgrade the overall process reengineering. Hope that through me for PFC purchasingprocess optimization and upgrading, reduce the employee’s work intensity, improvework efficiency, improve the management level of the company.Through the process to the company, all of the problems existing in process canbe divided into three categories: management, process and operation problems.Management problem is mainly in the process of examination and approval, there arelarge numbers of people to participate in the examination and approval, and no strictcontrol to the order of the examination and approval, for the supplier’s delivery, thereceiving department of no clear and need to be careful analysis of the procurementmeeting the rationality of the model. But mainly in the process, process for differentpurchase amount of the different ways of examination and approval of contradiction,the phenomenon of overlapping, in addition, the quotation process, also there is a riskof runaway, these are very obvious. According to operation problem, mainly becauseof the use of the third party system is simpler, not fully the use of the system ofinformation records and the advantage of information sharing, extensive use of themanual to do, while greatly increase the operator work intensity increased the risk oferror. The efficient running of the procurement process had a great effect.Secondly, this article will focus on the ThyssenKrupp company asked thepurchasing process, discussion and analysis in turn. And one by one solution orsuggestion is given. According to the above problem, this paper suggested to take the following measures: to create a perfect purchasing system, clear the approver forexamination and approval of duty, strengthen the management of the warehousereceipt, through information system upgrade is complete and to upgrade the overallprocess reengineering.Finally, the article introduced through the SAP system solutions, and combiningthe ThyssenKrupp, the success of the French company strength through SAP systemback online, to implement the ThyssenKrupp Changchun company procurementprocess reengineering. And evaluate the ThyssenKrupp company SAP system backonline need technical support, support, and risk control. Finally, make the summaryon the benefit from the system after the launch.Based on the PFC procurement process reengineering, optimize the process ofexamination and approval, make the approver homo habilis as its responsibility, moresimple. Through the procurement engineer involved in quotation process, strictlycontrol the direction of the wind in the process of quotation. Another very importantpoint is to upgrade the company’s SAP system. Through to the system upgrade, toreduce the staff’s working intensity, improve work efficiency, improve the level ofcompany’s business purpose. In addition, in the whole process reengineering andon-line in the process of the SAP system, the introduction of external windconsultants for risk control, but also refer to the SAP group use the successfulexperience of the success of the company. Make the system online and processreengineering are feasible. Hope that through this article, the company’s purchasingprocess can be greatly optimized. So as to achieve the purpose of reduce thepurchasing cost.
