Anything has its own developmental life cycle in the world, and the enterprise is not an exception. The life cycle of enterprise is like a pair of giant invisible hands, always controlling the track of enterprise development. Growth and development are two eternal themes pursuit by the. And any enterprise from the moment of birth has the intrinsic impulse to pursue growth and development. Therefore, the enterprise life cycle theory attracts more and more attention within the business community, and is always has been a hot topic for scholars at home and abroad. In the process of development, enterprises will experience different characteristics and crises in several phases; in each phase enterprise will implement the innovative strategic management according to the actual situation. Depending on the development strategies in different stages, the enterprise will produce different human resource management strategies, and apply them to practice.Recently, with the rapid development of the construction industry, furniture industry ushered in a new round development summit. Chinese furniture industry has formed the pattern with large enterprises as leading, small and medium enterprises as the main part. The furniture industry holds a wide range of products. The distribution industry of furniture develops rapidly, and the professional market of grows swiftly, making the furniture industry become an important industry in the national economy. China’s furniture industry annual output value has been close to a trillion RMB. But the furniture industry as a traditional one, its relatively backward management has been holding up the further development of most furniture enterprises, and one of the management problems is the human resource management of the furniture industry. Therefore, studying of furniture enterprises human resource strategy can solve some problems of human resource management in furniture industry in practice, and will have positive significance for promoting the further development of furniture industry.Furniture industry includes furniture manufacturing, furniture market, etc. This paper mainly regards furniture enterprises as the object of research based on the enterprise life cycle theory to study influences of the human resources management strategies on the enterprise at different stages. After expounding the study thoughts and methods, the paper will make a related collection and conclusion on literature about the enterprise life cycle theory, human resource strategy theory, and the enterprise life cycle and the strategy of human resource. On the basis of this, this paper will decompose human resource strategy into inducement strategy, investment strategy and participation strategy, and divide enterprise development into two dimensions, including the business development and staff development. And according to other scholars’research results, this paper puts forward four hypotheses: H1, Human resources strategies chosen by the furniture enterprises in different stages of development of the choice have the obvious differences; H2, In the newly established period of furniture enterprise, choosing the tempt human resource strategy is more conducive to the development of the enterprise; H3, In the growth period, the choice of investment type human resources strategy is more conducive to the development of the enterprise; H4, In the mature period, to choose the participate in human resource strategy is more beneficial for the development of enterprises.This paper adopts demonstration research method, collecting a total of294valid questionnaires from the Chengdu City Furniture Enterprise Management Committee and by Email. And this paper uses exploratory factor analysis in SPSS, the single factor variance analysis and multiple linear regression analysis and other statistical methods, to make an analysis and verification about the relationship between the strategy of human resource and development of the enterprise. Finally, the paper makes a discussion about the results.The results show that human resources strategies chosen by the furniture enterprises in different stages of development of the choice have the obvious differences. In the newly established period of furniture enterprise, choosing the tempt human resource strategy is more conducive to the business development of the enterprise, while choosing the investment human resource strategy is better for the development of the staff; enterprise development; in the growth period, the choice of investment type human resources strategy is more conducive to the development of the enterprise; in the mature period, to choose the participate in human resource strategy is more beneficial for the development of enterprises. In the four hypotheses, except assumption2, other three have been verified. According to the research results, this paper offers some recommendations for some practical problems of furniture enterprises in human resources management, and for how to carry out the human resource management in different development stages of furniture industry.Based on the enterprise life cycle perspective, the purpose of the study is to expound the relationship between the human resource strategy and enterprise development objectively of the furniture enterprises in different development stages by means of empirical research. For enterprises, the research results of this paper can make them employ the human resources management strategy more effectively to promote development of enterprises in different periods, so as to enhance the competitive advantage of enterprises.
