Since the third plenary session of the11th CPC to the third plenary session of the18thCPC, the off-farm rural employment has formed its evolution characteristic.The evolutioncharacteristic embodies in various aspects. The advancement of off-farm employment hasimportant effects on many aspects, and it promotes the national urbanization andmodernization and narrows the income gap, so it is an urge to promote off-farm employment.Based on consulting of a great many literatures, combining research method of theliterature research, qualitative analysis and quantitative statistical methods, evolutionary gamemethod and the econometric model, this paper analyzes the evolution of the rural off-farmemployment since the reform and opening-up, and the puts forward the correspondingpolicies and suggestions.The paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. This part focuses on the research background,research significance, the methods and research innovation.The second chapter is the literature review. This part mainly discusses the relevanttheories of off-farm employment, the related literature of the influencing factors macro,village and micro, based on which we carry on a brief review.The third chapter is the macro evolution of rural off-farm employment in China. Basedon statistical yearbook data and literature data, this part reveals a detailed macro evolutionstudy of the off-farm employment since the reform and opening-up.The fourth chapter is the equilibrium analysis of the rural off-farm employment in thevillage. Based on the game theory, it focuses on the equilibrium part.The fifth chapter is the empirical analysis of the rural off-farm employment from theview of the micro influencing factors. This part includes two parts, the first part is theevolution change of the influencing factors for every10years, and the second part focuses onthe micro econometric model for the year2011.Chapter6is the conclusion and the policies. This part summarizes the content of thepreceding, and provides countermeasures.
