Farmers’ income growth in poor areas is the core issue of poverty alleviation inChina.The paper analyzes and compares the status of the farmers’ income of two typicalpoor villages to explore restriction factors and problems of farmers’ income growth.On thebasis of investigating a typical poor village in mountains-Tanhuipu village,Fupingcounty,Baoding city,Hebei province and a typical poor village on plain-Lianvillage,Fucheng county,Hengshui city,Hebei province on the spot, after sorting,summarizing related data,the paper compares farmers’ income structure, methods ofincome, resources endowment,external environment,labor,farmers’ cooperatives,thedevelopment of local enterprises,consumption structure,etc.The paper finds that lack ofagricultural cooperative organizations,lack of education resources, remote location,lack ofyoung labor,the agricultural labor force employment is the main restriction factors offarmers’ income. Combined with local economic and social development,the paper putsforward the countermeasures and Suggestions:Strengthen farmers system training andrelated education,improving farmers’ comprehensive quality;Promote rural infrastructureconstruction, improving farmers’ production and living conditions;Perfect rural medicalsecurity and pension insurance system,reduce farmer burden of population health andpension;Improve the rural education condition,provide good material basis to improve thelevel of education; Encourage multi-sectoral cooperation,multi-channel method to improvethe rural spiritual civilization construction,lay a good human environment for the ruraleconomic development.
