It brings great opportunities to the development of domestic ceramic enterprises by rapid development of economy in China. As the increasingly maturing and competing of the market economy day by day, ceramic enterprises would face with more and more opportunities and challenges as well. However, compared with the international ceramic enterprises who have famous brand, there are some common problems in the Chinese ceramic enterprises, such as a short development history and weak in their scale and strength. The competitive force is relatively weak, a great number of companies has achieved the goal of fast growth relying on these competitive advantages like low-cost, wide cover, powerful sales. But lack of the implementing guarantee by business strategic planning and strategy, development lagging behind and missing development opportunities would frequently happen. How to develop themselves better, and then lead the development of ceramic industry in the world. That is the problem which the Chinese ceramic companies have to faceHL Ceramics Company is the largest one in the domestic export enterprises who produce ceramic ware of daily use, but deficiency of development strategy and strategic implementing assurance is gradually becoming a stumbling block to the development of the company as well, so strategic design and selection are imperative. Taking the external environment of ceramic industry as the cutting point, this article analyzes its macroscopical environment and hitting-the-view environment at present, and development status and tendency of this industry combined with the overview and development strategy current situation of HLcompany, summarizes the status quo to find out problem. And formulating effective development strategies that conform to itself, making comprehensive deployment, integrating enterprise resources, which lead to increase the enterprise core competitiveness. While seizing the opportunity to overcome difficulties, it would achieve corporate sustainable development.In this paper, it carries out SWOT matrix diagnosis of this company to obtain the intensive strategy which the company should choose in the future development strategy selection. It is to plan the current in effect strategy of the company. Discuss the specific measures to implement strategy in several aspects including market penetration, market development, product development, brand management and so on. Meanwhile, having a in-depth discussion about the guarantee of effective implementing strategy in some aspects, like corporate organization guarantee, human resources, monitoring rectification and etc., and enumerating the existing risk and proposing the prevention and control measures, which make sure that corporate strategy is effective and feasible.The research of this thesis has high reference value and function for the companies of ceramic industry. It also has reference value and important practical significance for the development strategy research of common enterprises.
