Research On The Strategy Of The Modern Urban Fisheries Development

Hubei Province, the Yangtze River water network system and dotted withlakes, with the basic conditions for development of freshwater fisheries andtraditional advantages. Liangzi Lake which belongs to Ezhou City is thehighest volume of water in Hubei Province and the second largest lake．Afterseveral years of development, it already has the objective requirements of thedevelopment of modern urban fisheries and obvious advantages. To promoteand facilitate the healthy development of the Liangzi Lake urban fisheries, onthe basis of domestic and foreign regional urban development of the fishingindustry, the advantages and shortcomings of the fishery’s development inLiangzi Lake City will be compared and analyzed. And based on this, somerelated measures will be formulated.The main content of this paper: The first chapter is the introduction of thebackground, significance, status quo at home and abroad, the author writingideas and the general structure. The second chapter is the related theoreticalreview, carrying out a detail introduction to the theory of the development ofmodern fisheries. Chapter III is mainly about domestic and foreign experiencein the urban development of the fishing industry. The developments of modernfisheries were introduced as well in this chapter. And it compares and analyzesthe developed areas of the domestic and international urban fisheries, summingup the experience for reference to the development of the urban fishingindustry in Liangzi Lake. Chapter IV is mainly about the analysis of fisheriesproblems in Liangzi Lake, which evaluates the current situation of theFisheries Development in Liangzi Lake by field investigation. On the basis ofthat, it will deeply and systematically analyzes the conditions and advantages,the problems and challenges of the urban fishery’s development in LiangziLake in the way of SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats). Chapter V is the strategic vision of the urban development of the fishingindustry in Liangzi Lake. First of all, from the five aspects of the industry,technology, market, function and main positioning, the direction ofdevelopment of the Liangzi Lake Fisheries will be ensured; then upon this, itcomes up with the analysis of strategies. At last, it comes up with the concretemeasures of protecting the urban fishery development in Liangzi Lake. Thesixth chapter is about the conclusion and recommendations of this research,which conclude the results of this study, and raise the problems andrecommendations for further research.
