Research On A Communication Company Software Development Project Management Optimization

In the current development of information industry, the increasing rate oftechnological innovation, customer needs and changing market, companies need torespond to the greatly increased challenges, which also bring a lot of problems to themanagement. With the completion of CDMA network cutover work in2008, acommunication company was faced with new challenges in marketing, and needed tobuild a strong and powerful marketing support operational systems in the shortestpossible time. In this background, through scientific research the company decided toadopt outsource form on the basis of the original system, to carry out research anddevelopment work of a new generation of marketing support system.Combined with the actual status of the company and the final results the projectneeded to achieve, the author carries out targeted analysis and exploration, and choosesto use the latest IM instant messaging software, software development, databasemanagement technology, and mature software tools such as project management, whichachieves the informatization of project management and software development process,and effectively reduces the project implementation risk. Through research on theoreticalsystem of software development project management, combined with the actual projectimplementation process and the problems encountered, this paper uses the researchresults of project management theory system to guide similar support softwaredevelopment projects management operations. In this paper, from a theoretical point ofview of project management, schedule management, risk management, quality controland communication management methodology in software development projectmanagement process are studied; and some key nodes such as the schedule management,communication management and risk management are presented with practicaloptimization cases, effectively improving the level of management and operation,controlling project risks, and seizing the project schedule. Ultimately, the software system successfully launched and achieved good results, and project results obtainedprovincial recognition and numerous awards.
