Team Building Analysis For Manufacture Engineering Team In Company R

With China’s joining into WTO and the coming of Knowledge Economy, the world economy is more and more closely linked. Among the heated competition through the global market, the competing between medical device manufacturing enterprises is demonstrated as the competition in the performance of product, which is the key to the final success. To achieve this success, the efficiency of manufacturing department is the core competitiveness. Therefore the manufacturing enterprises must adapt to the market-oriented reform, and in this reform the competency build-up in manufacturing engineering team is the top priority.The selected subject in this article is called "R", who is the wholly owned subsidiary of Carestream Inc. in China. R is a manufacturing site of medical device, whose manufacturing engineer team is the key element in the business operation. This article, based on the theory of team construction and core competitiveness of enterprise, firstly briefed the background and development of medical device industry, and introduced the new progress of world manufacturing engineering technology and the occupation characteristics of manufacturing engineering team, then provided a systematic review on the theory of team construction, inspiration, core competitiveness, etc. It discussed how the manufacturing engineer team, under the new challenges and new competition environment, could improve both individual and team’s capability, transform the organizational structure, optimize and standardize the business processes, so as to provide solid guarantee and support to the daily operation in the enterprise.Team construction is not an individual project. This article aims to explore the problems and gaps in the team construction, through the theoretical guidance and the status analysis, so as to propose a series of programs and strategy for improvement. In the meantime, the programs and strategy will be adjusted and innovated during the execution, for the purpose to inspire the potential of the employees and adapt to the changing market environment and company vision.Hope this article could provide research idea and materials for the general research on the team construction in engineering department of manufacturing enterprises.
