| The changes brought by the Global economic integration is intensifying the competition among enterprises, it is must for enterprises to enhance its market competitiveness by accelerating the new products development, shortening new product launch cycle, and reducing products manufacturing cost deeply. More and more new products from R&D team are defined to produce in China factory directly, and mass production products need to transfer to manufacturing factory in China, there appear all kinds of the projects which based on product transfer or new product introduction(NPI), this kind of project has its unique characteristics and complexity. More and more problems were founded and caused project failed finally, such as not smooth communication, misunderstanding, unqualified project quality and failed new product quality target, the waste of resources, project finish time delay. The unqualified project quality and poor new product quality are two typical reasons which cause to project failed.This article studies the NPI project quality management based on A communication company, pointing out the problems existing among similar projects in current NPI project management from the view of NPI project request, NPI product manufacturing process and NPI quality continuous improvement. By means of implementing project quality management theory and methods, the author put forward improve actions for NPI project quality management. The article makes a detailed application and analysis for a sample NPI project, the application data proves that both NPI project mangement quality and NPI product quality can be improved, the NPI project time can be shorten also. |
