Research On Process Management Of Electronic Product Design Of W Company

In recent years,with the rapid development of science and technology,lots of new technology came into being.Many emerging industries continue to emerge and pop out,such as new management concepts,new information & communication technology,internet technology and big data.From Germany's industrial 4.0 to 2025 of China's advanced manufacturing technology,all connect the modern Internet information technology seamlessly for continuous development.With fierce market competition,fast speed of product upgrade,short period of new & old product alternative,new product must launch into the market in a fast way in order to gain more market share.So shortening the new product development cycle including custom quotation,research & development,trial production is a must.In order to ensure the new product smoothly and successfully goes into mass production in a short time,it requires not only a very strict control of each design stage & design process from technical aspect,but also rely on a mature project management system.we see lots of electronic company and electronic enterprise are now starting to apply project management method for their project development.With this application,lots of projects & products went into mass production and launched into market very fast.The fact not only shows that the project management plays a key role in the project development but also reveals the importance of project management.When writing this paper,the author first looked up plenty of literatures and books which are for the project management of customized electronic product design & development based on understanding and existing working experience.In this paper,majorly takes a successful customized project of W company-the power system of MS1650 cloud server as a case study,reviews its whole project management process and do some summary of how to apply the modern project management theory into actual customized electronic product design & development.In this paper,the author firstly introduces the background and the current situation of the project management of customized electronic product design,as well as the research ideas and structure of this thesis.Then secondly gives a simple introduction for the power system project of MS1650 cloud server,including electrical performance requirement,customer(time,cost,quality)requirement.After that,it also elaborates the existing project management process and new project life cycle definition and PDCA circulation principle for the design and development of new customized electronic product in W company.Finally,considering of meeting customer requirement and existing W company project management process and available resource,it presents how to apply WBS for breakdown each work into small activity,how to define key milestone and start a team,how to optimize working period and design expense.After done for these,a reasonable project schedule plan can be easily generated by using Microsoft Project software.at the same time,taking the prepared project schedule plan for MS1650 as guideline,we will use the project management communication method to push project execution,and apply PDCA circulation theory and project management tools to do check and control for each stage of the MS1650 project from start to the end,inspect the schedule plan and give the feedback on time,etc.All of these can enable the project to be monitored in dynamic control process.With this process support,it does not only improve the management efficiency,but also ensure the MS1650 project completion on schedule.In the end,the MS1650 project went into mass production smoothly and launched into Market successfully.The primary significance of this paper is to elaborate the project management utilizing into the research and development of a new customized electronic product with positive achievement,which has a great inspiration and reference value for lots of the development management of domestic electronic enterprise product.
