More and more entrepreneurial activities use the model of entrepreneurial teams. Entrepreneurial teams are very important for new venture enterprises, while they are very fragile, so trust is a key factor for the entrepreneurial team to remain stable and success. Entrepreneurial team trust increasingly attractes attention in academic circles. Entrepreneurial team trust refers to the middle and senior managers’ faith for each other’s behavior predictability and good, who participate in management and share enterprise profit in the new enterprise. On the perspective of enterprise’s development stage, studying the dynamic relationship between entrepreneurial team trust and role performance has theoretical and practical significance.Based on the investigation of concept of team trust and role performance, we reviews the previous literature on the relationship of the development stage of enterprise, team trust and role performance. We divide the process of enterprise development into the three stage:start-up, growth and transformation, and classify entrepreneurial team trust into two dimensions:cognition-based trust and affect-based trust We investigated151entrepreneurial team on-the-spot and collected220valid questionnaires, and then built the sample database. Using SPSS statistical analysis tool, through factor analysis, variance analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, we draw the following conclusions:(1)The difference of cognition-based trust is significant in different stages of new ventures. The average level of cognition-based trust is gradually reduced from the start to grow again to transition stage, while the average level of affect-based trust is minimum in the initial stage;(2) Both cognition-based trust and affect-based trust was significantly positively related to the role performance, and entrepreneurial team trust has a positive impact on the role performance;(3) With the change of enterprise development stage, the positive effect of cognition-based trust and affect-based trust on role performance is increasing first and then decreasing;(4) In the same development stage of enterprise, the influence of cognition-based trust on role performance is different form affect-based trust on role performance in the degree.According to the research results and combining with the practice, the following suggestions are put forward on the management of entrepreneurial team trust in new ventures:(1) to create a good culture of trust in entrepreneurial team;(2) the establishment of the reasonable guarantee system for entrepreneurial team trust;(3) taking the initiative to create emotional connection, maintain a high degree of trust attitude. Finally we summarized the future research direction in the field of entrepreneurial team trust in new ventures.
