Strategy Study Of Initial Growth Stage Pharmaceutical R&D Enterprise Based On The Resource Integration Theory

The quick global economic integration paces has promoted the development of CRO (contract research organization), large pharmaceutical R&D CRO multinational enterprises has achieved rapid development through the implementation of integration strategy, intensive strategy and diversification strategy. But because of Chinese CRO industry is still in its initial stage, small enterprise scale, weak R&D capability, single business are seriously restricted the development of relative enterprises. And the existing CRO strategy studies mostly concentrated in the macro environment level and the large Multi-National Corporation study, therefore the study of the strategy focused on integration and diversification. Small and medium-sized enterprises due to its characteristics are difficult to implement the integration or diversification strategy, can only development through the integration of relevant resources in the most efficient use, so gain little attention from scholars.In view of this, this paper starting with the characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprises, select a typical case of Z company, obtain the relevant research data through interviews, literature analysis and information consultation. In the course of the study, Z company is located in the initial growth stage. Combining the characteristics of this stage, the SWOT analysis was used in in-depth study on related content of strategic environment of Z company, to explore a series of measures related resources of small and medium sized CRO enterprises, which should be implemented in the development process of the integration in order to promote the implementation of the company strategy mode transformation and strategic plan. On the basis of these studies, the Z company strategic development direction and pattern were clarified, from compounds to the database service.
