Relationship Between Organizational、Spatial Context And Scientiifc Cooperation Network

In scientific cooperation network, researchers formed a complex networkthrough independent cooperative behavior with a specific structure. However,current studies on scientific cooperation network focused on its structure andevolution while ignoring impacts of organizational context and spatial context in theformation of such a network. The study is helpful to establish a network bridgebetween macro network and microscopic individual, understand the node contextshaping work in structure of scientific cooperation networks from the perspective ofexternal and internal systems in depth. Combined with the National Natural ScienceFund Project “Research on theories of slow and quick combined knowledgeextensible optimization and sharing in knowledge supernetworkenvironment”(project NO.:71071144), this paper explores relationships betweenorganizational context, spatial context and scientific cooperation network, helps usshorten the social distance between researchers through rebuilding context networkmethod, thus enhancing and strengthening research cooperation, promotingcollaborative innovation.Firstly, this paper defines the concept of organizational context, spatial contextand scientific cooperation network, summarizes related researches. On this basis, thecontext co-occurrence networks are constructed separately, in which theorganizational context and spatial context is added as node context tag. Secondly, tofurther proof the correlation between context and cooperation behaviors,organizational network and spatial network are constructed. Finally, an empiricalstudy is carried out to explore relationships between organizational contextco-occurrence network, organizational context network, spatial co-occurrence contextnetwork, spatial context network and scientific cooperation network with the datafrom CSSCI top5core journals in LIS field by QAP and network visualization. Theempirical results show:○1There exists a significant correlation betweenorganizational context co-occurrence network, organizational context network andscientific cooperation network, organizational context is an important factor for the formation of scientific cooperation network.○2And a significant correlation betweenspatial context co-occurrence network, spatial context network and scientificcooperation network, spatial context is an important factor for the formation ofscientific cooperation network. Current research cooperation in LIS field is primarilyunder the same organizational context and spatial context, the level ofcross-organizational or cross-regional research cooperation is not high. The empiricalresults are further explained from the view of Cooperation. Moreover, somerevelations and suggestions for enhance cooperation between scientific research andpromote collaborative innovation are given.
