The Strategy And Countermeasure Research For Rail Transit Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Dalian With SWOT Analysis

This industry not only impacts the transit capacity-building of Dalian, but it influences the rise of modern Industrial and high-tech industries and equipment manufacturing.This paper evaluated external environment and internal conditions of rail transit equipment manufacturing industry in Dalian with analytic method of SWOT. According to research, many development policies and market opportunities show out for rail transit equipment manufacturing industry. However, the development of rail transit equipment manufacturing industry is faced with some challenges. To start with, developed countries tried to revive the rail transit equipment manufacturing industry. Moreover, the market is already very competitive and getting more so. Lastly, rail transit equipment manufacturing industry has put new requirement with a change in the operation mode of rail transit.According to the results of SWOT analysis, this study reached Dalian should combine WO strategy with ST strategy, pinpointed the guidelines, strategy target and strategic layout. Finally, this article introduces the detailed steps for implementation of the strategies. Dalian should create optimal developing stage, promote the upgrade of technology, and intensify the efforts on market. By these means, it is possible to build Dalian into an advanced manufacturing base of rail transit equipment manufacturing industry in worldwide.
