Further Research On Improving Y Airlines Flight Regularity

The burgeoning growth of air transportation services within limited airspace resources led to correspondingly lower levels of flight operational resources. Meanwhile, increasingly sophysticated structure of airline system and servere weather have put more pressure on flight regularity management.On the other hand, passengers always concern flight regularity most besides flight safety. In recent years, a relatively good record has been kept as for aviation safety, but flight irregularity is the most difficult issue for civil aviation all the time.Since2009, more than50%customer complaints about civil aviation are about flight regularity. Moreover, the aftermath compensation for flight delay is high and mass disturbances can be easily aroused due to improved legal awareness of the passengers. For example, in early2013, servere weather condition led to large-scale flight delay in K airport and multiple mass events as a result, which was highly concerned by the media and public.Therefore, flight regularity management plays a positive role in stabilizing customer quantity, increasing company benefit and enhancing competitiveness of both the company and the whole industry. It’s very important for the company to improve flight regularity.Based on adequate research on the civil aviation flight statistical method and practical experience, this paper would analyze measures taken by the Y Airlines to improve its flight regularity by analyzing the factors that affect flight regularity. And hopefully, controllable factors and formulate corresponding measures to improve the Y Airlines flight regularity would be found out.
