In recent years, with the continual increase and rapid development ofthe hotel industry, a large number of professional managers withcompetency are needed to research and develop market. As paying notmuch attention to the training effect evaluation, the hotels do no get bettereffect than expected. With increasingly fierce market competition, thecompetency of professional managers, not only affecting the professionalmanagers’ self-development but also the hotels’ management anddevelopment, serves as the keystone to develop the Human Resources inhotel industry. If the hotels want to get better training effect, they need tobe clear what affects the hotel professional managers’ training effect. Andthis is starting point of this study.It is the main subject that the study on tranining effect evaluationsystem of H hotel’s professional managers. The main contents are asfollowing. Firstly, through reviewing the related literatures, such ascompetency and training effect evaluation system, it shows currentsituation of the research. Secondly, through the literature research andbehavioral event interview, the paper extracts20competency elements ofthe H hotel professional managers. On the basis of the20elements, thepredict test is designed.According to the analysis result of the survey data,the questionnaire is amended and surveyed in a wide range of investigation. And then, the paper analyzes the collected data by means ofSPSS and AMOS, and builds the competency model. Lastly, on the basisiof the present situation of the training effect evaluation system of Hhotel’s profesional managers, the built competency model is applied inthe optimize of training effect evaluation system. In this part, the articleputs forward the improvements to the evaluation index and weight andevaluation method.Then comes to the conclusion. First, the competency model of Hhotel’s professional managers is built through literature analysis,behavioral event interview and questionnaire survey methods. The modelconsists5factors--professional knowledge and skill, managementalquality, leadership, personal quality and achievement orientation. Second,according to the questionnaire result, the current situation of the traniningeffect evaluation systmen of H hotel’s professional managers is revealed.In order to optimize, the improvement measure is put forward.
