| As stepping into a historical stage for "comprehensive, in-depth transformation&high-end, green development", to meet higher standards for all the regional districts under the intention of Beijing municipal government to build a "high-grade, precision&advanced" structure of economy, Shijingshan District is to build an industrial system dominated by high-end service sector. Among the five leading industries, modern finance has drawn a great attention from the local government owing to its breath-taking speed of development, powerful industry driven affection and tremendous contribution to economy. It has also got strong support on both policies and projects from the municipal and even the national government.The thesis is written from the perspective of how government leads industrial cultivation, aiming at facilitating the structure of high-end industrial system led by the development of modern finance in Shijingshan District and helping its regional economy transformation of eco-friendliness. Adopting the research methods of desk study, symposium, field study, case reference,"SWOT" analysis, a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, etc., the thesis conducts an overall research into the development of modern financial industry in Shijingshan District. Based on a comprehensive conclusion of achievements, the thesis points out the remaining problems such as relatively small scale, limited influence, unreasonable inner structure, weakness in resource agglomeration and lack of innovation ability. Meanwhile, through in-depth analysis of the opportunities as well as challenges of modern financial industry in Shijingshan District, its advantages and disadvantages, the thesis proposed that the district should be positioned as "the financial innovation center in the Capital West". Moreover, it provides a set of general idea, basic principles, developing stages, targets and special strategies to push forward the development of modern financial industry in the district. It is of theoretic and practical significance for Shijingshan District to step up its development of modern financial industry, and to build "a national demonstration zone of green transformation". |
