Research On Fluctuation Trend And Influencing Factors Of High-technology Industrial Agglomeration Degree In Jilin Province

With the arrival of a new round of technological revolution and industrialrevolution，the High-technology industry has become an important front of the worldcompetition. The High-technology industry has an important significance to promotestrategic restructuring of economic structure, the transformation of economicdevelopment mode and building an innovation-oriented country. IndustryAgglomeration provides a powerful support for cultivating and developinghigh-technology industry, also pushing forward regional economic development as animportant growth pole. As a result, the regions strengthen the const-ruction ofinnovative industrial clusters， for example zhongguancun in Beijing, TianjinMarina high-tech zone, Xi’an high-tech zone, which possess the independentinnovation capability and large scale in China. Industry agglomeration as hightechnology industry development carrier has increasingly become the focus ofacademic research.Under the strategy of comprehensive revitalization of the northeast old industrialbase, promoting quality and upgrading of the economy has become the urgency inJilin Province. The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing has comparative advantages inJilin Province. First of all, the scale of Pharmaceutical manufacturing ranks the top inthe country, the output of bio-pharmaceutical ranking second in the country，traditional Chinese medicine ranking first in the country, and there is a period ofexplosive growth. Secondly, Jilin province has four state-level high-tech zones, whichhave formed the unique bio-pharmaceutical and traditional Chinese medicine base，gathered a number of well-known enterprises and listed companies，the high-techzones have become the core area of Pharmaceutical manufacturing cluster,pharmaceutical manufacturing has formed strong gathered momentum. Pharmaceutical manufacturing has become the backbone industry of Jilin provinceand has an irreplaceable role to promote economic development in our province. Thehigh-tech zones in Jilin province as the carrier focus on the development ofcompetitive industries to promote industrial cluster scale and the optimization ofindustrial structure. Therefore, to strong Chinese medicine, do expand chemicalmedicine and do optimal biological pharmaceutical is contribute to foster neweconomic growth point.This thesis viewed pharmaceutical manufacturing industry of Jilin province asthe research object. First，the thesis summarizes the relevant literature on the basis oftheory and research results in domestic and foreign, defines the high-technologyindustry,tells the differences between the industry cluster and the industryAgglomeration. Secondly, to measure pharmaceutical manufacturing industryagglomeration degree from the aspects of industry and area, in combination with thepresent situation of the Jilin pharmaceutical manufacturing, analysis the developmentpotential and its reason of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry agglomerationdegree,the study found that the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry agglomerationdegree is higher. This third chapter established a evaluation model selecting6indicates，including the foreign direct investment income, human capital, high-techzone income, pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprise scale, the infrastructureinvestment in fixed assets, the science and technology expenditure. This text chose thedata from1997to2013，which used Eviews econometric model to analyze theinfluence factors of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry agglomeration degree ofJilin province. The study has shown that pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprisescale, the infrastructure of the fixed assets investment and financial expenditure is theGranger reason of improving Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry AgglomerationDegree. The foreign direct investment, high-tech zone income and human capital isnot the Granger reason of promoting Pharmaceutical Manufacturing IndustryAgglomeration Degree. Finally, based on the result of the third foregoing，put forwardsome countermeasures to promote Jilin pharmaceutical manufacturing industryagglomeration degree from various angles, summarize the conclusion of the paper and propose the late research prospects.
