Research On The Influence Of Industrial Convergence On The Industrial Competitiveness Of China's Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Manufacturing is the cornerstone of a country's development.At present,a large number of high-end manufacturing industries have begun to return to developed countries,and low-and medium-end manufacturing industries have turned to Southeast Asian countries with lower labor capital,which has a dual impact on China's manufacturing industry.As an important component of the manufacturing industry,the improvement of its industrial competitiveness has reached a point where it must be addressed.In the context of "Internet +" and Industry 4.0,rapid and high-quality technological innovations have gradually broken down industrial barriers.The integration of equipment manufacturing and other industries has become a general trend,especially the integration with high-tech service industries with higher technological content.A powerful "weapon" to enhance the competitiveness of the equipment manufacturing industry.However,there are few studies on how to improve the competitiveness of the equipment manufacturing industry based on the perspective of industrial integration.Therefore,exploring the impact of industrial integration on the competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry not only enriches the research field of equipment manufacturing industry competitiveness,but also helps to propose targeted measures.This has a significant effect on effectively improving the competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry.Strategic significance.This paper uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods.First,based on the integration of high-tech service industry and equipment manufacturing industry,the impact mechanism and path of industrial integration on the competitiveness of equipment manufacturing industry are pointed out.During the study period,the degree of industrial integration of China's equipment manufacturing industry and its sub-sectors with high-tech service industries,and then using the DEA-Malmquist index method to calculate the industrial competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry and its sub-sectors from 2008 to 2017;Construct a panel data regression model to empirically analyze the relationship between industrial integration and the competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry.The research results show that:(1)During the study period from 2008 to 2017,the degreeof integration of China's equipment manufacturing industry and its sub-sectors with high-tech service industries basically showed an upward trend,but the annual and sub-industry increase rates were different.(2)During the study period from 2008 to2017,the industrial competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry and its sub-sectors showed a rising trend of fluctuations.(3)The integration and development of China's equipment manufacturing industry and high-tech service industry can promote the competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry,and the degree of promotion is far higher than other factors in the competition of equipment manufacturing industry.The degree of force improvement.Finally,according to the empirical results,three conclusions are drawn.First,from the perspective of the integration of the two industries,the suggestions for improving the industrial competitiveness of the equipment manufacturing industry are promoted.Second,the construction of high-tech talent teams is accelerated.Finally,the technological innovation capability is enhanced.It will provide some reference for the development of equipment manufacturing industry and follow-up research.
