Research On Mode And Mechanism Of New-energy Automobile’s Generic Technology Diffusion

The global new-energy automobile industry has been developing rapidly, and inChina the related technologies have also been included in many projects. Strategiesto develop the industry are set in a short time, and the government starts to pay highattention to the research and development to new-energy automobile, as well aspromote the formation of the industry.It has been found that our generic technology of new-energy automobile hasgot remarkable results in innovation, and our technologies in this field are in theadvanced world level through analyzing technology comparison, intellectualproperty data and the finished automobile sales. However, with the significantinvestment in research and development, sales of our finished vehicle are still poorand few companies can go abroad. After studying the current problems in thisindustry, it is known to us the generic technology is encountering huge resistanceswhen diffusing such as unwillingness to diffuse, ways to diffuse limited and thereturns too low. There are two reasons for the above problems. First, we are in afledging period in this filed and put all our focus in the innovation work, whichmakes our domestic technologies that have reached the world leading level can’tbe used effectively. Second, it is common to see enterprises are repeating the workfor they are almost isolated in research and development, and this caused a seriouswaste of cost and time.For the problems we encountered, we studied the documents on diffusion ofgeneric technology and the related supportive policies from home and abroad, and found we need to improve our mode and mechanism. Based on the foreignexperiences and the situation of our country, we firstly revealed how the uniquestructure of new-energy automobile industry impacts the intra-industry generictechnology diffusion and then proposed the reasonable suggestions on diffusionmodes. They are enterprise-oriented type and government-oriented type, anddiscussing the modes from the view of enterprises and government separately.Afterwards, the paper also proposed three mechanisms including driving mechanism,safeguard mechanism and organization mechanism, as well as supportive policiesspecifically.In conclusion, we should increase input in the diffusion of generic technologywhile improve our technology of new-energy automobile and make it used by moreenterprises. In this way, not only can enterprises cut down the cost of research anddevelopment, but it is also good to point out the development direction of theindustry and formulate the unified technology standard, which will help to improvethe industry, and be a stepping stone for China to lead the progress of new-energyautomobile industry in the future.
