System Dynamics Model Building And Empirical Research Of City Tourism Competitiveness

In recent years, along with the tourism urbanization, city tourism has become an important part of modern tourism; with the center of the city tourism radiation effect is more and more obvious. In view of this situation, more and more cities have taken tourism industry as mainstay industry and paying attention. As a large country with rich tourism resources and some city with strong tourism resources, how to make full use of tourism resources rationally, keep the health and coordinated development in tourism industry, enhance the overall tourism competitiveness of the city, these problems become an urgent task. It is also worth doing academic research and discussion.This article uses the system dynamics model to analyze the Taiyuan tourism competitiveness. It is useful to help Taiyuan know its advantages and disadvantages in tourism industry. By this way Taiyuan can choose the mode and direction of development. It is good for the optimize allocation of resources and can also avoid unnecessary redundant construction. At the same time, it is helpful to promote the city construction and management level of Taiyuan, so it can be better to participate in international tourism competition under the background of economic globalization.In this paper, the specific research contents are as follows:First of all, on the basis of the research at home and abroad, this article summarizes the applicability of the system dynamics through the complexity of city tourism competitiveness and the advantages of system dynamics. And then introduces the definition of system dynamics and modeling software. In addition, defines the concept of city tourism, city competitiveness and city tourism competitiveness, and constructs the evaluation index system of city tourism competitiveness on the bases of analysis of the city tourism competitiveness theoretical model.Secondly, on the basis of the preliminary concept and theoretical analysis, the paper introduces the system dynamics model, and has cleared about the purpose of building the model, and determines the system boundary of city tourism competitiveness. Then uses the Vensim PLE software to draw subsystem causality diagram, analysis relations among subsystem, constructs the city tourism competitiveness system flow chart.Finally, after the analysis of the current situation of Taiyuan tourism, the article uses the system dynamics model to validate, forecast and simulate the tourism competitiveness of Taiyuan, and put forward the strategy of improving the tourism competitiveness of Taiyuan according to the simulation results. For the development of tourism in Taiyuan city has a certain practical reference value.
