Research On The Relationship Between Development Of Logistics Industry And Economic Growth In The Three Northeast Provinces Of China

The logistics industry is considered to be the company’s "the third source ofprofit ". Developed logistics industry has a balance of supply and demand, adjust andoptimize the regional industrial structure, promote regional economic growth,improve operational efficiency and the regional economy as a whole to protectnational security and so has important macroeconomic strategic significance.Logistics itself has intensive and systematic characteristics and has importantsignificance to reduce environmental pollution and promote sustainable economic andsocial development in recent years, so it has been widespread concerned. At the sametime the relationship between logistics and economic growth has become a commontopic between national government and academia and has become a research focus inthe field of logistics.Logistics Practice of the world has proved that there is a profound connectionbetween logistics and economic growth, which is a mutually reinforcing relationshipof mutual influence. Destruction of any party, the other party will dampen demand.With the revitalization of northeast old industrial base policy, economy andlogistics of the three northeastern provinces have made considerable progress.Through the combination of theoretical and empirical methods, the analysis of thelogistics and economic growth theory and influence between the two mechanisms,select the Northeast1978-2012years of economic growth indicators and logisticsindustry development indicators, including GDP, as explanatory variables to cargo,freight turnover, logistics network mileage, postal and telecommunication servicesand transport, storage and postal industry output as explanatory variables, by takingthe values of all variables to eliminate the heteroscedasticity, then using panel datafixed effects regression estimation model and found that showed a positivecorrelation between the two, but vary the degree of influence of each variable on GDP.Based on the analysis of measurement results, propose policy recommendations from the point of government policies, infrastructure, the talent person training and theintroduction and logistics information.
