Nowadays, adaptive performance becomes one of the researches focus in industrial and organizational psychology, adaptive performance refers that individuals performance and transfer knowledge from one situation to another when facing the change of the situation. The employees who have higher perceiced organizational support can improve the level of work engagement, which promotes the increase of adaptive performance.394employees were employed as the subjects in this study.’Survey of Perceived Organizational Support’,’Utrecht Work Engagement Scale’and’Job Adaptability Inventory’were used to measure the level of perceiced organizational support, work engagement and adaptive performance of the employees. The analysis also included the research that the mediating effect of work engagement between perceiced organizational support and adaptive performance.The study using SPSS17.0and Amos6.0analyzed the collected data. The results obtained are as follows:(1)Sex and working years have significant interactive effects on perceiced organizational support;(2)Sex and working years have significant interactive effects on dedication;(3)There is significant difference between the female and male employees on vigor, The levels of vigor in the female were significantly higher than that of the male; There is significant difference between female and male employees on pressure adaptability, The levels of pressure adaptability in the male employees were significantly higher than that of the female;(4)There is significant difference of employees’ different work years on vigor, crisis situation adaptability, study adaptability, cultural adaptability, creative adaptability and uncertainty adaptability;(5)Perceiced organizational support can significantly predicts pressure adaptability,interpersonal adaptability and study adaptability;(6)Perceiced organizational support on pressure adaptability was partly mediated by dedication.
