The Research Of East Asian Economic Integration And The Impact On China’s Industrial Structure

Since middle period of last century, the east Asian economy has appeared on the world stage with its unique. Japan, Newly Industrial Economics, ASAEN, China and Tiger Cub Economies has exerted "export-oriented" development strategy, created the east Asian miracle. As the trade relationship between China, Japan and South Korea and China-ASEAN increasingly becomes close, the east Asian economic integration are gradually developed. Since reform and opening up in China, China rechieved the rapid growth of the economy, and at the same time, China has made remarkable achievements in industrial structure adjustment. But from the point of international comparison, China’s industrial structure also has the very big disparity with the developed country. The structural contradictions is more serious in the new century, therefore, under the condition of regional economic integration, discussing how to speed up the pace of industrial structure adjustment, promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure to realize the continuous and stable economic growth in China is a subject with important practical significance. Based on the background of east Asian regional economic integration development, this paper firstly introduces the development course and current situation of the east Asian regional economic integration and the industrial structure in China. Secondly we generalize the influence mechanism of Asian regional economic integration on the industrial structure and carries on the empirical analysis. Lastly according to the above analysis, we put forward policy suggestions of China’s industrial structure adjustment strategy.
