Research On Industrial Upgrading Paths For Equipment Manufacturing Industry Based On Synergy Innovation Perspective

Equipment manufacturing industry is the basic industry of providing technical equipment for national development and construction, has been hailed as the "backbone of the national economy". Equipment manufacturing industry has strong radiation ability, high industrial relevance and strong employment driving ability, therefore, the level of development of a country’s equipment manufacturing industry is often regarded as an important measure of its overall national strength and international competitive position. Throughout many international developed countries, its rise and development in the international arena is dependent on its high development level of equipment manufacturing industry. This shows that the study of the equipment manufacturing industry’s upgrading issues has certain strategic significance.At present, with the rapid development of the technological revolution and the information revolution, the speed of information dissemination accelerate gradually, the complexity of the product and the individual needs of consumers increase rapidly. The original closed innovation model relied on a single subject or elements can not meet the increasingly complex demands of innovation, the synergy innovation model relied on several different innovation subjects has gradually developed. Synergy innovation theory said that the industry is a network system consisting of multiple principals, such as enterprises, government, universities, research institutions, customers and so on. By forming a cooperative relationship between different innovation subjects and sharing of resources and complementary advantages, the synergy effects could be produced. This article lead the synergy innovation theory into the research on industrial upgrading for equipment manufacturing industry, advocated that exerting the initiative of equipment manufacturing industry’s various innovation subjects and stimulating innovation network model will create synergy effects and promote the formation and evolution of industrial innovation capability, finally promote the equipment manufacturing industry to upgrade.Firstly, based on the theories of synergy innovation, industrial upgrading and equipment manufacturing industry, this paper proposed the connotations of synergy innovation and industrial upgrading. Secondly, construct the equipment manufacturing industry’s synergy innovation network model and the theoretical model of synergy innovation to promote industrial upgrading of equipment manufacturing industry, then lead into the Industry Life Cycle and analyze the role of synergy innovation driven industrial upgrading of equipment manufacturing industry from the different stages of the industry life cycle; Thirdly, proposed the industrial upgrading paths for equipment manufacturing industry based on synergy innovation perspective; Finally, Select the machine tool industry in Liao Ning Province as a case study and analyze the industrial upgrading for Liao Ning Province machine tool industry to test the conclusions.
