Equipment Manufacturing Industry Technology Innovation Model Based On Enterprise Life Cycle Research

The equipment manufacturing industry is the basic strategy of providing technology and equipment industry to our country’s economic development and national defense construction, its stable and sustainable development, has profoundly impact on the adjustment of industrial structure in our country, the process of transformation of economic development pattern, to further enhance the comprehensive national strength and early realization of the dream of China is significant. But at the same time, the equipment manufacturing industry is also the high energy-consuming, high polluting industries, so in future development, equipment manufacturing industry must implement reasonable technical innovation modes of enterprises, research new products, develop new technologies to compensate for equipment manufacturing enterprise itself and the environment. In this background, based on the equipment manufacturing enterprises technology innovation mode study and application of life-cycle theory, the paper has researched equipment manufacturing enterprise’s technical innovation model in enterprise life-cycle, and presents appropriate security measures. The details are as follows:First of all, defines the equipment manufacturing industry, technological innovation model and the concept of technological innovation modes of the equipment manufacturing industry, and classifies the traditional model of technology innovation of equipment manufacturing industry. Through a literature review and survey presented problems in equipment manufacturing industry technology innovation model. Key issues include:(1) imitation innovation model gets more mature technology rather than advanced technology,(2) independent innovation still dominated by integrated innovation and introduction of digestion and absorption, ability of original innovation is weak;(3) cooperative innovation patterns is in the information asymmetry and cooperation is instability.Secondly, Based on enterprise lifecycle theory, theoretically divided equipment manufacturing enterprises into three life cycle stages: the start-up, growth and maturity. Analyzed the correlation between life cycle and technology innovation modes of enterprises, matched each life cycle to suitable technology innovation mode, and make assumptions。Hypothesis 1: In certain circumstances under other conditions, equipment manufacturing start-up period are predisposed to imitate the innovative model of technological innovation 。 Hypothesis 2: In the case of certain other conditions, in the formative years of equipment manufacturing companies tend to choose the innovative model of integrated technological innovation; Hypothesis 3: In the case of certain other conditions, in a mature equipment manufacturing enterprises tend to selecting independent innovation model of technological innovation.Later, based on theoretical studies, using questionnaire forms to collect data. Then using binary logit model analysis research samples, confirmed three assumptions in chapter.Finally, the paper proposes measures to guarantee the effective implementation of protection of technological innovation modes from three levels of Government, industry, enterprises.
