With the development of economic globalization, the simple relationship time has gone and never back. Today, people live in a complex network of interpersonal relationships: they always need to careful and cautious hand kinds of relationships in the life and work. Workplace ostracism as the new research field of negative interpersonal relationships in organizational behavior, has been attract more and more attention of scholars, it generally exists in all types of organizations, brought a series of negative impacts to enterprises and individuals, but few scholars to explore its causes.This study was based on the employee’s own ability, starting from the endogenous factors of workplace ostracism, to investigate the correlation between emotional intelligence and workplace ostracism, make up for a lack of past research in the field of workplace ostracism. The research adopt investigate screened 247employees’ date, through the correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis to explore the impact of emotional intelligence on workplace ostracism, and distinguish the influence degree of emotional intelligence internal factors on workplace ostracism.The results show that the emotional intelligence has a significant negative impact on superiors’ ostracism and colleagues’ ostracism. Among them, the self-emotion appraisal, the use of emotion and the regulation of emotion play a major role in superiors’ ostracism; the self-emotion appraisal and the use of emotion play a major role in colleagues’ ostracism.
