System Dynamics Research On The Relationship Between Regional Logistics And Economy In Ji’an

In recent years, with “the Rise of Central China strategy”, “the Central Soviet Area Revitalization strategy”, “the industrial transfer policy of southeast coastal areas” gradually implemented, a large number of capital, technology and projects have stated inland agglomeration, which created much favorable external conditions for Ji’an located at the junction of Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Southeast Fujian Golden Triangle three economy radiation circle. It was said that the GDP of Ji’an in 2014 was 124.211 billion RMB, 6 times more than 20.5 billion RMB in 2003, making the average growth rate up to 16.78% during the 11 years. In terms of Ji’an’s industrial structure, the proportion of secondary industry and tertiary industry have been increasing year by year, but the primary industry, on the contrary, has jumped down to 16.78%.All these data indicates that the economy of Ji’an is on the rise. While at the same time along with the rapid economic development, Ji’an’s local logistics demand is also increasing and the diversities of that are richer and richer. In order to promote the circulation of goods more quick and efficient, it is of great necessity for the local government to make a deep analysis how Ji’an’s logistic and economy interact with each other.Therefore, this paper firstly analyzed the current development status of the logistic industry and economy of Ji’an. Then, on the basis of this as well as unbalanced development theory, “growth pole” theory, point-axis development theory, it studied the interaction mechanism between Ji’an’s regional logistics and regional economy in 2003-2013 by using the method of System Dynamics. Finally, the article had a simulation analysis by Vensim PLE software, drawing the conclusion that the government in Ji’an should optimize fixed assets of logistics, cultivate more logistics talents as well as bring in advanced logistics technology and management theory to coordinate the development of regional logistics and regional economy.
