| The current, State Grid Corporation has an increasingly strict claim on its supply chain management. Therefore, lean management agendas such as function integration, service serialization, operation standardization, target systemization and process atomization will be the most dominant and urgent trends for power companies as they are facing with a pressing requirement on a better material management. Though the recent ERP and ECP systems can help solving working-flow issues on an information basis, they can merely record the result and fail to afford a direct exhibition of the whole process (e.g. plan declaring management, tendering management, contract management, warehouse management, distribution management). At the same time, data retrieving and manual analyses are cost and time-consuming and thus not able to satisfy the current requirement on lean management.The study on the information management platform for electrical material integration in this project was based on the current situation of material management and the company’s information capability, i.e. the ERP and ECP systems. It also gave a thoroughly examination of the company/industrial requirements and adapt several latest ideology and techniques from the IOT area. With such a virtual platform for information integration and aid decision making, a power company could manage and control businesses such as plan declaration, contract fulfillment, distribution and quality management effectively, put supervision on the entire life cycle of supply chain, cover those blind spots of ERP and ECP systems, and increase the quality of supply management as a result.In this paper, firstly the material management and its informatization status of State Grid Corporation were elaborated, the existing problem of the informatization were explored. Secondly, Ningbo Power Supply Company was selected as a case for further research, and detailed analyses were drew specifically on the actual demand for the platform. Thirdly, detailed planning and designs on functional module of material management were also executed. At the final stage of thesis, a conclusion is given out for this project with an expectation on future deployment. |
