In the contemporary era of knowledge economy, knowledge impact on regional economic growth increasingly prominent, the importance of knowledge gradually enhanced. Knowledge spillovers as a way of knowledge diffusion, represents the knowledge in the continued development of the regions and sublimation, the diffusion of knowledge, not only promotes the development of knowledge itself, but also plays an ineffable role in regional economic growth. The same is true of, hangzhou also inseparable from the knowledge spillover effect of economic growth. Knowledge spillover in hangzhou economic growth, however, how to play the role? This article will through mathematical methods, such as spatial econometric model to uncover the secret knowledge spillover effect on hangzhou economic growth.First, put forward the research background, research significance of the article, and carding the research status at home and abroad are reviewed. Then, introduce basic knowledge spillover theory and economic growth, including the connotation of knowledge spillovers, pathways and factors, Neoclassical Growth Theory, Endogenous Economic Growth Theory and the New Economic Geography Theory.Secondly, Study the spatial and temporal characteristics of the knowledge spillover in Hangzhou. Select the number of patents per million people per capita trends as knowledge of Hangzhou overflow condition indicator variables, with the knowledge of the number of per capita patents per million instead of the regional level of innovation, research area of Hangzhou overflow time. Through the collation of data, and analyze discover Hangzhou knowledge spillover level presents a yearly increase of the overall trend, the fastest growth rate has steadily beginning to the rapid growth of the later, this situation indicates that knowledge spillovers in Hangzhou improved significantly.
