Research On Influence Of University R&D Investment On Enterprise Technical Innovation Performance Based On Spatial Spillovers

Science and technology are primary productive forces, and is the source of power to promote social and economic development. Since the reform and opening up, China’s scientific and technological development has made significant achievements while also facing the challenges of the new era."12th Five-Year" period, China further implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy, isGlobal Perspective to design and promote innovation. Enterprises are the mainstay of technological innovation; the college is the source of knowledge innovation. Whethersignificant interaction exists between the above two? And whether the regional technological innovations influence each other? As well as how is the R&D knowledge spillovers mechanism?The above are the focus on and solve problems.Based on2000-2010provincial panel data of China, the paper studies the relationships between large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in technical innovation and University R&D investment of technology, agriculture and medicine. The model results show that University R&D investmentpromote both enterprise innovation ability and innovation benefits. And the influencesexist spillover effect in the geographical space and technological space. Technological neighbors can produce positive effect on enterprise innovation ability and innovation benefits of the regional enterprises. But the geospatial overflow appears the opposite effect ininnovation ability and innovation benefits Geographic neighbors R&D investment can promote the region’s patented innovations, however, not conducive to the new product innovation as the presence of the new product market competition.Based on knowledge spillover effects of R&D, the government should increase the investment of science and technology innovation, to strengthen the innovation of the regional cooperation, and promote efficient allocation of innovation resources and integrated, in order to better implement innovation-driven development strategy.
