Study On Urbanization Of The Urban Villagers In Wenzhou

The village in the city is the emergence of the urbanization process, city village to upgrade urban community is not only a physical change, and more importantly it is the change of the people. New urbanization has pushed people’s urbanization to a new height since 18 th party congress. How to solve the villagers’ urbanization has become the most important problem and the hot issue of village urbanization, and it is also an important part of promoting urbanization.The villagers who live in urban village are special groups in the process of urbanization, so the urbanization of them is more complex. On the one hand, they lose their land and become landless farmers. They have the essential difference in the career and identity compared with traditional farmers and they live in the city. On the other hand,they rely on traditional villages in the economy. They follow the traditional small-scale farmer ideology in thought and behavior and misfit the whole urban atmosphere.Urbanization is the main trend of them because of the promotion of industrialization and modernization. But they have numerous connections with traditional villages in economy,culture and society, which dooms the road of their urbanization to be difficult and flexural.This paper selected four representative urban villages in Wenzhou as survey objects based on the descriptions of relevant circumstances of city villages in Wenzhou. The main structure of the article is divided into four parts. The first part, we described the investigation of city villagers’ basic life, including their actual incomes and employment,living environment, welfare safeguard and situation of social interaction. The second part,we found that non-agriculturalization of city villagers is higher than other groups of urbanization by summarizing the relevant data analysis. However, the urbanization development of them is slow, accompanied with reconstruction of the city villages. There are many problems in urbanization of city villagers, including economy, regulation,society, and psychology. The third part, we analyzed the reasons of the difficulties of theirurbanization based on themselves in microcosmic aspect and government actions in medium aspect and policy system in macroscopic aspect. The fourth part, we put forward the effective methods to promote the urbanization of city villages, including changing the role of government and policy system and improving the quality of the city villagers.Providing the theoretical support and practical reference for the urbanization of city villagers.
