Research On The Risk And Development Trend Of Electronic Banking In China

In recent years, with the continuous development of computer technology and Internet technology, electronic banking in China also developed rapidly, showing more strong substitutes for traditional banking. Taking share from electronic banking, commercial banks meanwhile are facing various risks. Nowadays, competition is becoming increasingly fierce and new market participants are unceasingly carving up the market as well. It becomes the urgent research topic for China’s banking industry that how electronic banking of commercial banks will survive and develop in the fierce financial competition, and how to conduct risk management and supervision.The concept, types, characteristics, analysis of electronic banking are first introduced in this paper from macroscopic perspective, and followed with the background, the domestic and abroad development of electronic banking; after analysis of the content and control countermeasure of the risk management, prediction on the development trend of electronic banking concludes the paper. The ICBC electronic banking is taken as an example, to introduce the development and security of electronic banking from micro perspective, and analyze the characteristics and advantages, as well as problems and solutions of electronic banking of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Finally, combined with the opportunities and challenges, suggestions and strategies are raised for future development and comprehensive competitiveness enhancement of electronic banking of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, which acts as the reference significance to the development of electronic banking in the same industry.
