In 21 st century, the network is getting more and more popular, which gradually become one of the most important source of information。Nowadays,network intends to permeate every corner of people’s life, changing their mode of thinking and life style. Network the transmission platform can present products and promote brand for an enterprise, as well as communicating information. An excellent enterprise should be good at taking advantage of network to enhance brand visibility and influence.With the competition intensified, advertising and publicity are becoming indispensable marketing tools. However, the traditional promotion methods are limited and costly, most enterprises, especially the small and medium-sized enterprises, can’t afford. Compared with traditional methods,the network promotion ones are low cost low,direct effect, wide coverage, and various means. Through the network promotion, people can get more knowledge of products, improving the company’s visibility and reputation, what’s more, bringing more benefits to the company.In China, many enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises, are lack of awareness of network promotion, looking down upon the importance of network promotion. Around this problem, my paper starts from the case of navigation application of a medium-sized software company. This app is facing problems such as there is little difference between competitive products, their website has less attractive to people, users grow slowly, etc., and analyze its users and competing products. Their users intend to younger ones, they prefer fashionable interface, hot news and interactive features. Above all, this paper puts forward the network promotion solutions, steps, implementation strategies and evaluation, including add product features according to user’s preferences, increasing its interactivity and times, and then through the website promotion, SEO, blog marketing, weibo promotion, wechat promotion, BBS promotion, soft-text promotion, event marketing, online-game marketing, and other ways to promote the products, expanding enterprise brand awareness step by step. At last the paper analyzes the result, proved the necessary network methods makes the enterprise to increase the downloads and profit.On the basis of this case, I put forward the corresponding suggestions in order to offer the reference and related industry practitioners in this paper. At the same time, I also hope to give the software companies an illuminating lecture for the future.
