Energy is important material basis for human survival and development. If China does not put on the agenda of energy development, it will not stand out in the world. Since energy issues come into being, it has been a major problem troubling countries in the world. China is no exception.It is particularly important to find a road for energy development which is suitable to Chinese national conditions and in line with the socialism with Chinese characteristics. Among renewable energy, biomass energy is the best of all.Since 1952, primary energy consumption is increasing year by year in Heilongjiang province. Only a slight decline in 2000 or so, primary energy consumption accounts for the proportion of total primary energy production is bigger and bigger. As one of the old industrial bases in Northeast, Energy supply problem has emerged gradually.For the first thing, sum up the advances in the field of biomass and development home and abroad. After that, expound the actual situation and bottleneck of development in Heilongjiang province at present. Secondly, through a comprehensive analysis of various methods of estimating biomass energy reserves, get Heilongjiang province existing resources of biomass energy from 2004 to 2013 by using the statistical yearbook. Estimate four kinds of biomass energy resource:the crops straw biomass energy, forestry biomass energy, livestock waste biomass energy, city garbage and waste water biomass energy, and get the resource reserves and the amount of standard coal equivalent, digging the enormous potential of biomass energy development in Heilongjiang province deeper and deeper. Secondly, based on the biomass estimates of the amount of standard coal equivalent, use adaptive filtering forecast models and forecast of grey system model in statistical forecast model to predict and compare results. Last but not the least, using multiple regression prediction model for forecasting future energy demand in Heilongjiang province and analysis of biomass energy development on the extent of satisfaction of energy needs in the future. It is of great significance of exploring current overall situation of development and utilization of biomass energy in Heilongjiang province.Overcoming the bottleneck of the development of biomass energy and searching for the shortest way to explore the biomass energy. Strengthen its efforts to develop this promising new energy to provide suggestions for Heilongjiang province’s energy development.
