With the deepening reform of rural financial in our country, various financial bodies began to emerge into the financial market. As a result, a large number of new rural institutions, grabbing the market share of the rural credit cooperatives which used to be the backbone in rural market, the competition will be increasingly fierce. With a case study of rural credit cooperatives in Hunan province, this thesis reviews the theory of competitiveness, utilizes the theory of PEST, Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model, value chain theory, etc. to analysis and evaluate comprehensive competitive power of Hunan rural credit cooperatives from the aspect of external environment, industry context, its resources and ability, and then comprehensive Analysis the deposits and loans of Hunan rural credit cooperatives, each year in which position among financial institutions, came to this conclusion that Hunan rural credit cooperatives has strong competitive strength in Hunan rural financial markets. Meanwhile, the paper also pointed out that the presence of Hunan rural credit cooperatives in the internal control system, operating performance and business innovation, and proposed specific suggestions to further enhance the competitiveness of Hunan rural credit cooperatives...
