With a case study of rural credit cooperatives in Hunan province, this thesis reviews the theory of competitiveness, utilizes the theory of PEST, Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model, value chain theory, etc. to analysis and evaluate comprehensive competitive power of Hunan rural credit cooperatives from the aspect of external environment, industry context, its resources and ability, and then comprehensive Analysis the deposits and loans of Hunan rural credit cooperatives, each year in which position among financial institutions, came to this conclusion that Hunan rural credit cooperatives has strong competitive strength in Hunan rural financial markets.
