Third-party logistics enterprises is to provide third-party logistics servicesbusiness entities. Most third-party logistics enterprises in the traditional "classlogistics industry as a starting point and developed, such as warehousing, roadtransport, air transport, maritime transport, freight forwarding and businesses withinthe logistics sector, according to the different needs of customers success by providingdistinctive services.Third-party logistics, as the direction of the development ofmodern logistics in China started late in the theoretical and practical aspects arelagging behind the developed countries, there are many problems in the development.Especially with the integration of the global economy and China’s accession to theWTO, China is facing new opportunities and challenges in the development ofthird-party logistics.Since the late1990s, logistics and third party logistics has been ahot topic in the field of China’s economic study of third-party logistics in an endlessstream. Unfortunately, some research is limited to the introduction of the concept ofthird-party logistics, depth discussion of the logistics industry, logistics enterprises farinsufficient.First theory of competitive advantage are reviewed, followed by a large numberof domestic and international third-party logistics, third-party enterprise competitiveadvantage, then, the article pointed out that this study will be based on the existingtheory of competitive advantage from the third-party logistics enterprises theproblems faced by the industrial environment and logistics companies.Then thisarticle analysis based on Porter’s five forces model of third-party logistics enterprisesexternal environment, for corporate internal factors, the focus of analysis from themanagement level, technical level, market level, financial level and service level fivefor third-party The logistics enterprise competitiveness evaluation lay the foundation.Evaluation of the competitiveness of enterprises, a comprehensive analysis of thecompany’s competitive strategy, evaluation is only a way and means, its purpose is toidentify their own inadequacies, and make improvements that enhance and improve the competitiveness of enterprises is the ultimate purposes. Third-party logisticsenterprises benefit analysis. Measure of the strength of a business survival anddevelopment capacity in the market economy, all indicators return to their rootsgrounded to be reflected in the final effectiveness, pointed out that the effectiveness ofthe logistics enterprises sources aimed at the development of large-scale, professional,personalized first party logistics enterprises as a means to improve their owncompetitiveness.Third party logistics enterprises finally consolidated the foregoing factors,derived from some of the strategies to improve the competitiveness of third-partylogistics enterprises in China. Such as the establishment of efficient logistics platform,logistics services to establish the company’s brand, network and informationtechnology building.
