The Research On The Greater Mekong Sub-regional International Exhibition Cooperation

Since1990s, China’s Yunnan Province take positive actions on cooperation with Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia in the Greater Mekong Sub-region based on mutual benefit and common development. The countries of the sub-region have made fruitful cooperation in key areas of transportation, telecommunication, trade, energy, tourism and human resources development, the Greater Mekong sub-regional economic cooperation has become a sub-regional cooperation model in Asia. As a regional international cooperation and new economic growth point, the exhibition also began attracting more attention. Represented by China-South Asia Expo, GMS forum, GMS leaders’ meeting, China-ASEAN Expo, Thailand International Machinery Exhibition, the China Burma border trade and the Sino Vietnamese border trade, the Greater Mekong sub-regional International Exhibition cooperation gather the sub-regional countries exhibitors and exhibitors, realize the exchange of resources information and demand-docking of complementary market, promote other areas more in-depth, more efficient cooperation, through the display of goods, service platform for economic, trade cooperation and cultural exchanges.The study on the sub-regional international exhibition cooperation should be based on sub-regional exhibition development status and analyzes specific exhibition cooperation way, found problems in specific cases of cooperation comparison in the exhibition cooperation. This paper takes the Greater Mekong sub regional economic cooperation as the entry point, bases on the Greater Mekong Sub-region countries MICE development status, thereby summing the mode of exhibition Cooperation currently exist in the sub-regional cooperation with the Government, Project, Brand etc. Then through the analysis of China-South Asia Expo cooperation and its comparative analysis of the China-ASEAN Expo in terms of background, history, data, analysis and organizations to summarize the existing sub-regional exhibition cooperation problem. So that the paper can provide some suggestions and opinions for regional exhibition development, can have more cooperation under the new opportunity.
