With the development of economy and culture, more attention is paying to environmental factors, and therefore the environment is becoming a new kind of consumer goods of modern life. However, after decades of economic development, the environment has become a bottleneck of national economic development. Taking Nujiang river basin as environmental goods, this article studied ecological compensation standards and the ecological value to establish the ecological compensation mechanism of watershed basin and solve environmental problems, so as to improve the overall quality of Chinese environmental goods and achieve sustainable development of the environment.The key of ecological problems is how to balance the interest of upstream and downstream basin. Ecological compensation system is an effective means and methods to resolve the interests between the upstream and downstream of the river basin. Taking ecological environment as a tangible goods and using the environmental goods theory and ecological compensation system theory, the ecological compensation for environmental Nujiang River Basin in western of China was studied by contingent valuation method (CVM) and auction theory. In this paper, the payment card (PC) mode was used to carry out field investigations in the upstream areas of Nujiang River basin to accept the ecological compensation for soil and water conservation, including basic informations of local residents, WTP and WTA. The Nujiang River Basin Ecological compensation standards was calculated by contingent valuation method (CVM), including the reasons to establish the compensation system, compensation standards, influencing factors of willingness to pay (WTP) and willingness to accept (WTA). The main factors of WTP, WTA and the asymmetry between WTP and WTA were conducted through empirical analysis. With the help of auction theory, the bilateral bid auction model was established on the basis of a series of assumptions. The relationship between the ecological value of watershed basin and the bidding price of participants was ultimately achieved under the Bayesian Equilibrium. Finally, this paper proposed a mechanism of ecological compensation in Nujiang River Basin, and for provides an institutional guarantee for environmental protection of Nujiang River Basin. Nujiang River basin not only across different regions, but also involves a lot of minority interests of our country. So, it is a complex and difficult task to solve the interest problem of the Nujiang River Basin. Ecological compensation standard was measured by CVM and selecting the Nujiang River basin as a research object. In this work, both WTP and WTA were put into the consideration to make the measurement of ecological compensation standard more comprehensive. Also, it worked out the relationship between the ecological value of watershed basin and the bidding price of participants, and the tentative application of auction theory provided new methods for the research of environmental goods value.
